How do I record my first idea?
Open ideafox.ai on your phone or computer, tap the orange fox button, and start talking. The transcript appears live and the AI summary lands within seconds of you stopping.
Is my audio private?
Short recordings on iOS 26 + iPhone 15 Pro and newer use Apple Intelligence on-device — your audio never leaves your phone. Longer recordings are encrypted in transit and at rest. You own your data and can delete everything anytime.
How do I cancel my subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → IdeaFox → Cancel. Web: Account → Manage Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period.
I lost a recording, can you recover it?
If you were signed in, the recording is in your IdeaFox library across all devices. If you recorded anonymously and cleared your browser, the recording is gone — sign in next time so we can sync it for you.
Why is the transcript wrong?
Live captions use your browser's speech engine and can struggle with accents, background noise, or code-switched languages (Manglish, Mandarin). The final transcript on stop uses Whisper Large-v3 which is much more accurate. If that's still wrong, send us the recording and we'll improve our prompts.
How do I delete my account?
iOS: Settings → Delete Account → confirm. The deletion runs server-side and wipes your recordings, summaries, profile, and subscription record atomically. Web: Account → Sign Out for now; full self-serve deletion ships in v1.1.
I'm a developer — is there an API?
Yes — the IdeaFox API is in private beta. Email api@ideafox.ai with your use case for a key.
